ARE CAMPERS ASSIGNED TO SMALL GROUPS?
Each day of camp we have small groups! Campers will be placed with the same groups of kids (by age) and leaders each day. In these small groups with will talk about that day's point and bible stories and how they can apply the lessons to their lives.
5TH GRADERS!
Here at Coastline Church, we move all our 5th graders up to middle school in the fall, and our youth team has a big celebration with them. If your child will be entering 6th grade in the fall, we would love for them to join us at kids camp. If you have questions about moving up, or think your child might be ready for youth camp- don't hesitate to contact our elementary children's director, cat@coastlinechurch.org.
IS THERE FOOD?
Each day campers will receive two snacks and lunch! If your child has a special diet or severe allergies, please let us know ASAP!
HOW CAN PARENTS AND TEENS HELP WITH CAMP?
We love our VOLUNTEERS! We will be recruiting teens and adults to help lead small groups of children within each Team. Other Volunteers (both teens and adults) can help Volunteer in check-in, check-out, safety, snack team, and lunch team. Each individual serving at camp will need to be background checked and go through a training prior to serving with kids.
If time does not allow you to volunteer during the weeks of camp donating is another great way to give to our ministry and community. Your donations/sponsorships allow the ministry to reach other Coastline families who otherwise may not be able to participate in Camp.
I'M A PARENT WHO WANTS TO STAY WITH MY CHILD AT CAMP. IS THAT POSSIBLE?
At Coastline Church, we hold a strong commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all children attending our camp. To ensure their safety, we rigorously background check and train all individuals involved with the children. If you are a parent who wishes to stay for the camp's duration, we invite you to join our serve team after successfully completing our training and background check process. However, to maintain the security of our camp, parents not part of the serve team are not allowed inside the rooms with the kids during activities. These measures are essential to prioritize the well-being and positive experience of each child, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and support in creating a secure and enriching camp environment for all.
WHAT IF I HAVE A FINANCIAL HARDSHIP?
Coastline would like for all children who desire to participate in Camp to have that opportunity. If you have a financial hardship, please email Cat@Coastlinechurch.org. Camp scholarships are limited so register early. You will be emailed a form to fill out and then someone will contact you to discuss more in detail. (DO NOT register your child online if you are requesting a scholarship until you have been given further instructions).
